Qualifications

James D. Rohan, DDS, PC

Dr. Rohan has been serving the dental needs of the Chicagoland area since 1984. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (biology) in 1980 from the University of Illinois, Champaign and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984 from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Committed to on-going and continuing education, Dr. Rohan has completed more than 800 hours in advanced dental courses.

Kevin D. Dow, DDS

Dr. Dow joined the practice in 2011 and is excited to continue the level of excellence that Chicago Style Smiles is known for. Dr. Rohan and Dr. Dow share the same philosophy in giving the best quality of patient care possible. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (Business Marketing) from Iowa State University, Ames and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

In his free time Dr. Dow enjoys spending time with his English Bulldog Sydney, running and watching his favorite local sports teams.

Best dentists in the city. Dr. Rohan, Dr. Dow and their staff are an amazing team! They treat their patients extremely well and make the experience as good as it can be for visiting the dentist!

Dr. Dow has helped save my front teeth! WITHOUT Veneers! A previous dentist had done a number on my front tooth repairing and re-repairing a front tooth cavity. It then turned into a root canal, which gave me discomfort for years. The front tooth had discolored badly and was finally in need of attention when my husband recommend that I try his dentist. Dr. Dow not only saved my tooth but he is an excellent dentist. He is extremely detail oriented, went over every one of my teeth on my initial exam and explained to me why any tooth had a problem and how they could be treated. While people may complain about cost, I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". I got top notch treatment and to be able to smile and not have to hide an ugly tooth or have to yank any out is worth the money. This guy basically rebuild a tooth that looked like swiss cheese and it looks and feels awesome. Unlike my old dentist who was not only rough with my mouth, but did a sloppy and lazy job on many of my filling. My point, don't accept lousy service, there are awesome dentists out there like Dr. Dow who will do a decent job and make you feel at ease while working on you. I'm very relieved to find someone that is reliable and who really takes pride in his work.

I have been going to Dr. Rohan for 2 years now and I have so many good things to say about him and his office. The staff there is super friendly and will do anything they can to make you feel comfortable. The hygienist was also great and overly friendly. I recommend Chicago Style Smiles to all my friends looking for a dentist.
