Testimonials for Julia L. Jackson, D.M.D.

I'm over 50 and had a wisdom tooth that was aching and became loose. I was told I had to have “DENTAL SURGERY”. I was told not only did I have to have one tooth extracted but I had to have three. My first response was I cried, I prayed and I swore to never be put in this situation again. I was petrified. When I had my first visit to Dr. Jackson office, I was still scared. The other testimonies were on target. I had anesthesia but I requested to not be asleep. I could hear everything that was happening with no pain. I had a little swelling on my lower lip that was gone in about 8 hrs. I am very happy with the entire experience. I have told my family and coworkers about the experience. I’m sure my implant will also go as well as my extractions, which I will have one more thing to rave about this office and Dr. Jackson. Thank You Dr. Jackson and Staff!

First, I met Dr. Jackson before I entered her treatment office, because she walked into the waiting area with a big smile and warmly greeted me and then my father. This was the most impressive experience that I have ever had in any medical or dental office–that is when the doctor walks into the waiting area like she did. I perceived her actions as, a doctor who cares. I was referred to Dr. Jackson, by another dentist. I met Dr. Jackson for a consult about a fractured tooth that required extraction. My situation was complicated. Dr. Jackson wanted to resolve a gum problem that was caused by the broken tooth, before she proceeded with the extraction. She prescribed an effective antibiotic and explained treatment recommendations. She even offered suggestions for the future, such as replacement teeth to restore my smile. When I reported for the extraction, I was anxious, and afraid to go under anesthesia. However the staff and Dr. Jackson treated me well, and were confident and professional. My anxiety dissipated. I didn’t smell any strange gaseous odors as I anticipated, and fell asleep. My condition was complicated and a difficult extraction, but it was successfully done, and I am healing well. I became naturally a little restless according to feed-back from the team towards the end of the surgery, I felt badly about it, but I was put at ease about my behavior :) , by Dr. Jackson and the staff. I have to mention the staff is professional and knowledgeable about patient needs. I called back two days later to ask questions. My questions were answered, and I was asked if I was following the post-operative instructions. My post-operative visit was great. Dr. Jackson told me what to expect and how to check progress. Thank you everyone for taking care of me.

Dr. Jackson, Your services are impeccable, you have such a pleasant, relaxing, and reassuring voice. It really put me at ease as you talked me through the entire procedure (tooth extraction). I am going to recommend your services to all my family and friends.
